ST-One consolidates global expansion and is recognized among the country’s most promising startups

Curitiba-based Data Science company expands international operations and joins the LinkedIn Top Startups ranking, which highlights the fastest-rising Brazilian companies

ST-One, a Curitiba startup specializing in Data Science for the industrial sector, is currently experiencing a period of prominence both inside and outside Brazil. Founded in 2020, the company was included in the eighth edition of LinkedIn’s Top Startups ranking, which recognizes the twenty fastest-growing and most visible Brazilian companies in the job market.

The assessment considers criteria such as employee growth rate, jobseeker interest, user engagement with the brand and its employees, and the ability to attract talent from other leading companies. According to Guilherme Odri, Editor-in-Chief of LinkedIn News Brazil, the list serves as a “map of the future of work,” indicating where the most significant transformations in the corporate market are taking place.

With around 70 employees and headquarters in Curitiba, ST-One specializes in the acquisition, processing, and analysis of industrial data. The company is a benchmark in communication with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), a critical step in connecting machinery, transforming information into actionable data, and optimizing plant productivity.

International expansion

Recognition on LinkedIn coincides with the company’s advancing global presence. In 2025, ST-One began operations in the Netherlands, in the city of Elst, reaching a milestone of serving 25 countries. The strategy also includes entering the Chinese market, in the city of Yangjiang, by the end of next year, with a focus on clients in the food and beverage sector.

“Our strategy is to follow large industrial groups that operate globally. We start a project at a specific facility and, based on the outcomes, scale up to other units within the same group,” explains Tiago Machado, ST-One’s co-founder.

Currently, 80% of the company’s revenue comes from clients outside Brazil, the result of an approach that combines proprietary technology, multicultural teams, and compliance with international standards. Among the adopted standards are SOC 2 Type II, for information security, and CFR 21 Part 11, equivalent to Brazil’s Anvisa requirements.

Brazilian technology on the global stage

ST-One’s expansion also reflects the increasing role of Brazilian technologies in the global industrial sector. The company maintains strategic offices, such as its headquarters in Delaware, United States, and invests in multilingual platforms and professionals with international experience to serve industries across different time zones and regulatory environments.

According to the company, the results have reinforced ST-One’s positioning as a global provider of solutions for industrial digital transformation. “Our purpose is to make data the core of decision-making in industry, contributing to smarter, safer, and more efficient operations,” summarizes Tiago Machado.

With a trajectory that combines innovation, internationalization, and recognition as a great place to work, ST-One consolidates its position among the most promising Brazilian startups—and strengthens the leadership of Brazil’s Industry 4.0 sector on the global stage.
